Overview

A superb introduction to Himalaya trekking including all the main elements: excellent and exciting trails, ridge top paths with extensive views on both sides, campsites with wonderful outlooks (watch the sunrise over Nepal from your tent door!), continually changing environments as we climb and descend, different cultures and religions, a high pass to cross (the Laurabina La at 4610m.), a sacred site to visit (the lake at Gosiankunda) and new and dramatic vistas from day to day.

Views on the route of Gosaikunda and Helambu Trek include all the main peaks between the Annapurna in the west and Everest in the east. The trek begins at Syabrubesi on the outskirts of Kathmandu, finishes at Sundarijal and is followed by a bus journey back to the capital.

  • Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft) & Transfer Hotel

  • Day 02 Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi(1,450m /6,435ft)

  • Day 03 Trek to Thulo Syabru (2,230m /7,350ft)

  • Day 04 Trek to Shin Gompa (3,330 m /10,925 ft.)

  • Day 05 Trek to Laurebina (3,950m /13,035ft)

  • Day 06 Trek to Gosainkund Lake (4,380m /14,454ft)

  • Day 07 Trek to Phedi (3440m /11,286ft)

Cost Includes

  • 3 Night hotel overnight in bed and breakfast basis in Tourist Standard Hotel in Kathmandu and welcome drink on arrival.
  • 9 days full board twin sharing lodge trekking with full board with choice menu as per the guests.
  • Welcome and Farewell dinner while arriving and departing Kathmandu.
  • Hot drinks like tea & coffee
  • English speaking local trekking guides
  • Every 2 guests: one porter will carry their luggage during the trekking (means about 14 kg per clients).
  • All transfer as per the itinerary are with tourist standard vehicle.
  • Required permit and City entrance fee during the sightseeing program in Kathmandu
  • Cultural tour with Culture guide (highlights of Kathmandu Valley: Boudhnath and Swayambhunath) sightseeing.
